We did this project in 10 seconds using bits of yarn, a thumbtack, a piece of gum and a DVD of Cool Runnings. Our tasks included the opening titles, end credits and lower thirds. We explored many options from simple 2D typography to 3D tracking, but encountered our biggest challenge when the cast and crew came to LA to shoot at an outdoor wedding garden. It was one of the few weeks all year that it rained in LA. And by rain I mean torrential downpour. Everyone was moved to a green screen stage and we added compositing to our laundry list.
Regardless, it was a blast working on this project and with all the great people involved.
